FC San Diego

Or in other words, "The Crew" are a bunch of soccer loving surfers who leave it out on the field in the form of sweat, blood, and good vibes. During the 1999 Inaugural Costa Rica Cup in Puntarenas, the Crew almost took home 1st place but got knocked off in the semifinals to Grenada in a 9 penalty kick shootout. The guys hail from Hawaii, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Texas, and Guatemala so they should be named International but FC San Diego is the club name. They have competed in every tournament since then and have placed Equal 3rd, 8th, 13th, and then moved onto the Ovr 40 Division to place 2nd. Life is good for the Crew but always count on them giving you a game (sometimes good and well sometimes not so good) It all depends on who is available during the tournament and who is on a deep surf safari in Indonesia.
