New York City Police Department Soccer Club

The Mens soccer club from the NYPD is turning into a poweful club due to quality management, agressive recruiting, and solid play. I think they are hiring officers and the resume is asking for prior college level soccer as a requirement! At home and away, they are tough as proven by their 1st place showing in the North American Police Soccer Tournament (NAPST) victory at the Starfire Soccer Complex in Seattle. NYPD brought down the Open Mens clubs one by one on their way to the championship. But they can be beaten! And Club International took them down 2-1 in Costa Rica Cup 2007 in Jaco Beach. Luck? I will say that the high heat and humidity had something to do with it AND we were playing against the older team which did not have the Latino Express which led them to a NAPST 2008 victory. The future will tell how they strong they are OR how strong the other teams are! Best of luck NYPD, teams will be gunning for you now.
