Scavenger Hunt 2009

Thursday, October 15th (2:00pm - 6:00pm)

1. Scavenger Hunt starts at the USS Recruit Ship which is located on Liberty Station

2. Find the USS Recuit Ship on Liberty Station. Climb onto ship, go to the bow and yell "I am the King of the World". A picture must be taken to verify that you climbed onto the ship. Bring the picture(s) to the Scavenger Hunt Finish Line at Sail Ho Golf Club in Liberty Station.

3. Go to Shushiya Restaurant in Liberty Station. Order a 50% off special roll called the Spicey Albacore and a Asahi Beer. Drink it & eat it BUT save 1 piece of the special roll to the Scavenger Hunt Finish Line at Sail Ho Golf Club in Liberty Station.

4. Go to Oggi's Pizza and Brewing to pick up your FREE slice of cheese pizza. Drink a pint of California Gold Beer to go with the FREE pizza slice. Teams will pick up a bar coaster to bring to the Scavenger Hunt finish line.

5. Find the Desembarcaro Marker on Farragut Street. (This spot is where Spanish Explorers landed in San Diego Bay in the 1700's.) Take a picture of your team alongside the marker.

6. Trader Joes Market - Find Timmy the Turtle, The Crab, and the Lobster in the market. After finding the items, Go to the Demo area to sample some drink & food. GET YOUR FREE GIFT from the demo person to bring to the Scavenger Hunt Finish Line at Sail Ho Golf Course. Teams will purchase a bottle to wine to toast the other teams at the Welcome Party.

 

7. Vons Supermarket - Go to the supermarket and buy somethin that you will be required to eat in front of the crowd at the Welcome Party at the Sail Ho Golf Course Bar. THE NASTIEST THING TO EAT WILL WIN A SPECIAL PRIZE!

8. Point Loma Sports Bar - Take a round of Red Bull & Vodka Shots with the Red Bull Girls, Get pictures to bring to the Scavenger Hunt Finish Line at Sail Ho Golf Course.

9. Corvette Diner - Get your hand stamped and say hello to the Retro 50's girls at the Corvette Diner. Grab a picture of the CLASSIC Corvette located inside of the diner and play a Air Attack Video game in the gameroom. Record your score for the Scavenger Hunt Finish Line.

10. Go to the Welcome Party at the Sail Ho Golf Club Bar at 6:00pm
